Web Site Development

Over the past weeks,Our mission was to design a web site that will allow viewers to visit our site and see what we have to offer them.Our Site was an Anti-Identity Theft which protects people from our world of technical arm robbers like,credit card scammers and e.t.c.The project took about 3 weeks and our obstacle was attendance and we had technical difficulties for like two days.I learned how to develop a web site with various tools and information given to us by our teacher.

Following Instructions and Computers

When it comes to computers,it is different because computers don't have what we humans have.We humans do not actually need specific instruction to do something but computers do,because they are not programmed to follow instruction yet. Poor instructions will lead to bad outcome for computers.Humans can work through errors but computers can't.Humans have the ability to figure out the correct instructions but computers don't because they are computers.

Data Modeling and Design

A C.A.D tool is used by artist as their fist step in creating their masterpiece as in the digital model of creation.Photoshop helps you design how you want your original image to look like.When using Photoshop,I had so many difficulties because it was my first time using it.I had to spend more time on it.After a while,I got better and liked it because I can now do what I like with pictures.One part I was enchanted by the availability of all the tools.They were easy to find and operate.Cropping the image was also very difficult because I didn't want to do the number of pixels.It was a great experience for me and I hope to get better as time exceeds.In Politics,Photoshop can lead you to a success and also to your down fall.Candidates can be Photo-shopped into what they don't like and make you look bad to your people.

How Data tells a story

• Data is the information collected when you process something electrically and physically.
• Data can be processed through survey,video,video camera,Hospitals and social security card.
• 1 byte=1 character,letter,number,symbol.
• 1 byte=8 bites
• A list of words can be easily collected because it can be processed easily.

Web 1.0-3.0

• The past two weeks,I learnt that web 1.0 is a one way communication that perform only one specific task.
• 2.0 and 3.0 performs double task that allows people to upload files (2.0) and comment with each other on social media(3.0).
• Some businessman meet up through social media to discuss their work or do group work.
• A reliable resource has a credibility,authority,accuracy,appearance and objective..

Learning Reflection

• The goal of the assignment was to determine which computer is best for different kinds of work.
• I learnt that most computers are similar but have one little part that makes them different from each other.
• Some people prefer computers with large amount of space because of their profession.
• I also learnt that not everyone that spend the whole using computers.
• I can apply this to my own life by sorting out the computers before buying them.
• My group member wasn’t in class for one day which I;m pretty sure she’s going to work on that.

• I learned that we all have a different background 
• Some of us attended middle school in the united States and did not
• My challenges was that some of the members weren't coming to class regularly and we had to wait for days in order to get the assignment done.
• One of our member was a left handed and had a twin.
• Fortunately,we have a member who is in IB,the best and smartest program in the school.

• Computer science is the use of special apps to create programs scientifically.
• Computer science involves the use of scientific methods to modify products
• Cables and special web pages are used when working with computer science
• Its usually team work or projects that involves one or more people

Wireless Communication

I learned that, Wireless communication is a type of data that is  performed wireless

• When buying a phone,it's depends on your needs or choice not the cost or the customer service.
• Other states has banned text whiles driving because it is very risky 
• Sending self naked pictures to your friends is inappropriate

Choosing A Computer

I learned that when you want to buy a computer, You can hand in  list of features about the computer you want to buy to the salesman. Example,If you want a computer that store so many documents,then you will need a big Ram or a storage media, I also learned that a Cloud users  needs a client device to access the cloud system via World Wide Web.

• I choose this computer because it has speakers and medium screen.
• Comfortable keyboard and mouse.
• Its cost $500.

Learning reflection on Consumer Fraud

Consumer Fraud
Consumer fraud is the defrauding of a consumer of various products and services.

A social security number is a 9 digit number issued TO U.S citizens and permanent
resident that is used as a primary form of identification by the government.

The truth in lending act requires that individuals and businesses extending
credit, like your credit card company,reveal all the terms and costs that are attached to it. Fair credit reporting act requires correct use of credit reports.

I will keep my social security card safe.

I will contact my bank when there is any misunderstanding.

And i will use fair credit report.

i will avoid any abusive practice from debt collectors.

Learning Reflection on Investing

Investing

Investing means putting down money to gain interest.

When you invest,you avoid gain more money if the company you invested your in is growing.

Capital gain is the amount of money you gain from an investment hence the name

Bonds is basically a loan except that in this case, you're the lender

Mutual fund is collection of investment that you can buy as a single package, rather than purchasing individual stocks, bonds, and other investment yourself

A stock is a share of ownership in a company.

Appreciation in value is the key to any investment.

I will invest money into a company that will make sure there is no risk with my money.

I will also like to get me a stock in a developing company.

Making bonds with larger companies will be a pleasure to me.

Taxes and Insurance.

Taxes are given on products that you buy and insurance are paid on things that you spoiled or use.¨Sale tax is usually a percentage of the price of what you purchase.
¨State income tax are charged in addition to federal taxes, though requirements for state income vary from state to state.
¨Capital gain tax is a tax charged on the profit made on sale of something that was purchased at lower price.
¨Property tax are tax an owner pays on the value of any owned property including land, building or houses,

¨¨I will get a good coverage in order to have good protection.
¨At my youth age, I will prefer a less premium.
¨I will like to own my own house, lands and cars.

Renting vs.Owning

Renting means to rent something and owning means to own something or the product belongs to you.
A mortgage is a type of loan that is used to finance a purchase of real estate.Fixed Rate =Interest fixed for the period of the loan usually 15 or 30 years.Balloon payment loan has low interest rates with big payment at the end.I will always make my mortgage paymentI will buy instead of leasing.

Financing Higher Education

It means going to college and getting a college degree or furthering your level of  educational.

•FAFSA=  is the free application for federal student aid. It is the main form student use to apply for federal education grants and loans.

•Private Student Loans are financed by private companies rather than the government.

•Grants and scholarship are given to students to help pay for their education and do  not have to be  repaid.

•Federal Students Loans are  offered directly to students by the government.

I will study very hard to get a scholarship

I will avoid wasted of money when I am at college

• I will not take a private loan

FICO=is an acronym for fair Isaac corporation

•Credit bureaus are companies that collect credit information about individuals.

Credit history is a record of a person borrowing and paying activity.

•Payday lenders offers small cash loans.

•The federal reserve is the central banking system of the united states.

•A retail bank typically deals directly with individual costumers but  may also serve business as well.

•Commercial banks deal primarily with deposit and loans from corporations or large businesses but may also function as retail banks and offer services to individual.

•Saving and loans are banks that specialize in accepting saving deposits and making mortgage loans, but may offer other services such commercial loans and retail checking

•Credit union is a cooperative bank, meaning its privately owned and controlled by its member.
